Finish Is Everything

A professional finish makes all the difference when selling restyled furniture. Whether you choose to paint, roller, or spray, it's important to use the right paint to give your furniture a flawless finish. I use Fusion Mineral Paint as it's easy to work with, dries quickly and covers well. I also love the variety of colours which are always very contemporary.

I normally use a stain block primer if the wood has been previously stained or a base coat that ensures my paint will stick like glue! I always use at least two coats of paint to ensure full and even coverage. If you find any stray hairs or particles in the second coat of paint you can very lightly sand, by hand, with an ultra-fine 400 grit sandpaper. To avoid this paint inside where there are no drafts.
