Its All About The Look
Once you have finished your piece you really want to showcase it. I have seen wonderful pieces of furniture online that have been let down by a poorly lit photo or a drab background. I'm also so surprised when I see new pieces of furniture. So often new furniture is poorly made, with a short life, looking dated in no time. When you buy vintage or antique furniture, it will last you a lifetime and is open to being restlyed numerous times. So rather than changing the furniture itself, you can simply update the colour and tweak the hardware to meet your needs.

A picture tells a thousand stories and that's really what you want your photo to do. You want your customers to see the beauty in what you have created and how fabulous it could look in their own home. Think about where the piece would normally be placed and how it would be used. Look at what background best suits your furniture colour, get lots of light involved and add furnishings to give luxury appeal. Looking at other websites can give you plenty of ideas!
